It has taken her three years to complete her album. “The music, the expression, has matured and the voice dares to undress down to its core,” she says. Marie Glad has written all of the songs on Rescue Me and published them on her own label, Royal Sister, with support from her band and the visual artist Iva Troj. Several of the songs, among them the title track Rescue Me, have been produced by the bass player Daniel Kwon Joon Hult.
